On Saturday, May 16, 2026, Dr.Jamal Mohammad Amen, a member of the Executive Board of the LPO, participated in the "22nd Putrajaya Conference on Children, Women, Elderly, and Persons with Disability", in Malaysia by presenting an academic research paper titled, “The Role of Civil Society Organizations in Serving People with Disabilities in Iraq Post-2020.”

The conference was held via online, with the participation of more than 40 researchers from three continents: Asia, Africa, and Europe.
